My name is Shayna and this is juniper & clay
Hi, I’m Shayna—maker, gatherer, and the heart behind this store.
I was raised in a world where I didn't know things weren't made in a factory and food was just magically placed in a big boxed grocery store. My bread had no strength, my clothes had no longevity and everything that broke was easily ‘replaceable’.
My journey started with fermentation, how it grew and flourished with what was already there. Wild crafted. I was pulled into the vortex and started asking, “what else can I craft from what surrounds me?” Slowly I discovered worlds, ancient worlds, that seemed to be full of realizations and answers from what feels like long forgotten, rooted by its seasons, slow rhythms, and wild spaces.
What began as a quiet love for handmade things and natural living has grown into this space—a small market filled with goods made the old way: by hand with care and close to the earth.
I believe in simple ingredients, real food, and honoring where things come from. Whether it’s a bar of tallow soap, a jar of wild honey, or a bundle of herbs gathered in the woods of our backyards, everything in the shop is here to help us reconnect—with the land, with each other, and with ourselves.
This store is my way of returning to something ancient and essential. I’m so glad you’re here to be part of it.
